Yup, u guys heard it right. Straight after having dinner while watching Arsenal teach Newcastle United a lesson in an earlier match, Fairis, Shamin and I left "Uncle Don's" where we had our dinner and headed to Kabuki Studio in search of some fulfillment on their musical instruments. Since two of our regular metalhead buddies couldn't make it tonight for undisclosed reasons, we had to settle with only the three of us with Fairis on bass guitar, Shamin taking charge of the drum kit while yours sincerely had the pleasure of abusing the guitar hehehe ;p (all of us take turns on the mic, by the way) And because of the shortage of staff, we only spent an hour instead of the normal two hours minimum and only played catchy pop rock and pop punk songs..The list included "Adam's Song" by Blink 182, "Separuh Nafas" by Dewa, a couple of Linkin Park numbers and the everlastingly cheesy "Cinta" by Flop Poppy. (gosh, i feel like such an arse for actually listing those)

Truth is we couldn't help it, u know. All of us were in such a cheerful mood that playing a heavy metal song would be like trafficking 5kgs of cocaine into the Parliament House! Even though it'll be fun to see the old geezers snotting away and be merry instead of getting at each other's throats for once, we just weren't up to it. Not today, at least. Besides Arsenal's win, each of us had numerous other reasons to be happy about which i would rather not reveal for now. Ahh, it was a good day for all and I sincerely hope that yours wasn't any different either.
