It has been a few days since I last posted, yet somehow it felt so darn long. The main reason is of course I did not have internet access as I was in Singapore for goodness sake! No offence to you fair lions, but I don't feel nice using my uncle's pc just to update my blog, he's using dial up mind u..Malaysia 2-0 Singapore ;p just kidding lah, hehehe. Back to the matter at hand, I've been in Singapore since Tuesday and there's one thing that I could never understand, which is why I never fail to get impressed everytime I go there. For your info, I just went there less than two weeks ago, and now I already have another reason to adore this island! So far I've been drooling over the cheap prices of electronic goods (ipod, zen etc) cheap guitars (Peninsular Plaza), extensive collection of heavy metal albums (also Peninsular), tv mobile (on their public transports) and lots more that I'd rather save for later.
This time around though it wasn't the sights nor the sounds of the city state that set me alight, it was one of its inhabitants rather, that managed to open my eyes and open my heart into loving Singapore and her populants, either breathing or otherwise. In my opinion, this girl believes that Ranting About Fun Enable Kids Act As Young Understudies ;) hehehe..could I make it anymore obvious? She is very unique compared to most young ladies that I've met before. For once, someone not only appreciate, but actually keep the poems that I've written! Besides that, she opened my eyes into loving the simple things in life and NEVER take them for granted, just like the day we went strolling around Orchard. It was a simple pursuit of pleasure yet I've managed to learn alot during that short span of time, about myself, about her, and of course about her beloved Singapore! I would never have given that time away for anything..by the way, happy belated birthday to Singapore and mein schöner schmetterling!
